This was my 3rd visit to St. Barth's and I stayed at this particular hotel for 4 nights back in 2003. I had reservations at the Tropical Hotel and after one night there, was determined to find a new hotel. I got a local guide to St. B which is how I found the Seahorse. As a single female traveling alone, trying to have a peaceful time without spending gobs of money, the Seahorse fit the bill for me.
The staff were unobtrusive but helpful when asked for something. My room was cleaned promptly and thoroughly each day. It was a little plain but nicely decorated in light pastel colors. The pool was medium-sized but very tranquil and had a great view overlooking the ocean. The whole hotel just had a peaceful air about it.
I really enjoyed my stay here and would stay here again.
