Yet another jem hidden away in Saba... the interior setting has a fun artistic flair that follows through to their rooms that are very well designed. Beautifully prepared dishes and a well stocked bar makes dining here a memorable experience. With a vew that is hard to find in the Carribean, sunset drinks on the cliff side patio are a must. The staff is friendly,fun and helpful. All of this together allowed me to have a great time in Saba. I highly recommend it.

The best quality to price i have experience so far in the Caribbean. An absolutely fabulous view, great rooms and excellent beds. The restaurant is top quality: beautiful dishes, great service and an impressive list of Italian, French and American wines. Paul (manager) and his staff are friendly and always at your service without being "over-attentive". For business and vacation, i would really recommend to stay here.

My husband and I just returned from our first trip to Saba and can't reccommend it enough to all of our friends....with the condition that they must stay at Shearwater Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were treated spectacularly. Our room was absolutely beautiful, well appointed, and you couldn't have beat the views: nothing but ocean and the surrounding islands. Paul, the resort's owner, and his staff went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and more. From orgainizing our dive excursions to making dinner and travel reservations, not one detail was left unattended. The atmosphere at Shearwater Resort is fantasitc. Even though it was fully occupied, we felt like we had it all to ourselves which was quite a treat. We are already looking forward to our next visit at this special place.

I visited Saba and Shearwater Resort for a long weekend on a whim. Not knowing what to expect I was more than pleasantly suprised not only by the property and amenities, but also the personal treatment I received from Paul (the owner) and the staff. The island is beautiful but the hotel and pampering outshine even the island. The view is unbelievable but when accompanied by a nice glass of wine and the company of Paul and the locals who drop in to the bar or restaurant, it's unsurpassed. The rooms and amenities can be seen on the website and are as advertised, great, but in the course of my travels I have never recieved better service anywhere I've stayed. I'm actually planning my next trip (next month), and hope to take advantage of the diving offered by the island, which is evidently the reason most tourists visit.
