Our very pleasant room was more like a small apartment with kitchenette, attached to the Village Creole: a triangle of small chic shops and restaurants. A nearby bakery provided early morning coffee and croissants, and creperies offered late night snacks. A few minutes walk from the beach and the ferry to Fort-de-France. The office is only open during the day, but the desk was manned by Virginie, as helpful as she was charming, and gave us helpful advice about favourite beaches and restaurants and snorkeling spots. I look forward to staying there again.
