“The best things of the Martinique are gathered here”

Great wonderful people. For all the staff you r the best. Amazing view, with great sun in the morning in the wonderful balcony with the Caribian under you and fort du France in the distance. Very good beach under the hill , location 15 min driving to the national road which takes you all around the island , 40 mins driving (if no traffic) to F.d.F. From the beach under the hotel u can take 20 mins boat to f.d.F 6.5 € return ticket. 10-30 min driving you find the best beaches in the island. Few "ok" restaurants at the hotel beach but we r disappointed generally with many of the restaurants we tried although we followed the advices of a well known French Guide book, we tried many restaurants for our 10 days stay and generally just medium quality. Have to try the Ti- punch with acra and the poulet bocaney from the street are mandatory! Great fruits and juices.
The hotel dosnt serve breakfast but they offer fresh baguete every morning and you can first day buy your banana, guyave or chilli peppar jam and enjoy sitting in balcony every morning.
Car is a must in this island.
The hotel has a free wifi in all rooms. Unfortunate only French tv channels!!
The rooms are all as studios with a full equipped kitchen.
We drove around the whole island and if we come back then it's the same hotel we will choose but may be the rooms need little refreshing with some more new furniture otherwise it's perfect.

Bonne situation.

“Good Value Clean”

This hotel is good value. Its clean ,basic and functions fine. My wife my 3 year old son and I stayed for 7 nights. Not much to do but use their pool. wifi if you in line of sight of there bbq area otherwise you need to leave your room to check e mail etc. The rooms (the one we had after moving room ) closer to the pool seem to be slightly better or not as used. We were closer to reception on the avenue and asked to move as our 3 year old kept walking out where the odd car was passing. There was no issue. They gave us a room away from the cars no issues there. I did not see any signs of a kitchen / restaurant but I noticed a BBQ in the upper area. The fresh bread (when you ordered but first morning they supplied free) was smashing . Its a must for when you get up. There is a small shop down in the village with most basics you will need for cooking.

Room Tip: Very important if you do not want to take on steps an a daily basis I would suggest you ask for a ro...

“Good value”

We stayed for 6 nights in October 2011. Booked via expedia with a 6 nights for price of 5 deal. Total cost was £400. We thought this was good value and enjoyed our stay. Excellent staff, nice pool, great views, kitchen had everything required for self catering, clean, quiet, comfortable, set in nice gardens, hourly ferry to fort de France, couple of restaurants, a supermarket. Taxi from airport was expensive at 60 euros and we should have been more organised and pre booked a car hire for our arrival. Good base to explore the island from. Definitely think if staying here you would need to hire a car to make the most of Martinique. Hotel organised this for us at 28 euros per day. The beach here is fine but not the best on the island. Hotel is on a steep hill. Liked that the hotel arranged for baguette ordering and delivery.

“7/11 - Lovely and Friendly Quaint Village”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2011

We stayed seven nights at Le Panoramic in July 2011. Martinique is one of the few islands in the Caribbean that we had not visited, therefore, were not very familiar with the layout. I assumed (wrongfully) that the hotel was located in the city of Trios-Islets. It is not far, but is definitely in a much smaller village of Anse a l'Ane (a tourist attraction - not). This small bay/cove has about a half dozen restaurants and fewer places to stay and has an hourly ferry to Fort de France. We met mostly locals, all of whom were genuinely friendly, even with our limited use of French. I was somewhat disappointed by the cloudiness of the water; perhaps being the rainy season the flow of the river into the bay made the affect worse. The walk up the hill to the hotel will convince you that a car would be wise. There is a small grocery about 3 blocks away that stocks some very good French wines at very reasonable prices and poulet roti (very tasty). Important - Do not miss the duck gizzard salad at Nid Tropical Restaurant.

Le Panoramic - what a nice little hotel to stay! The staff stood out as the most courteous and accommodating we have ever encountered. Nadia, Valdi and Joy are the greatest assets to the place. You can order fresh bread for the next morning at the front desk. The rooms are not fancy but nice and clean. The kitchen has a four burner stove, full size fridge and electric coffee pot and a fold down table - we ate on the balcony. We had a small flock of friendly birds that, once fed, would wake up us in the morning asking for more. We used the hotel as a base for visiting other areas of the island. All-in-all, and if I were to "do-over", we would stay here for around three days and St. Pierre for another four. Larry & Kelly, Georgetown, Texas

Room Tip: All rooms have a good view, some have balconies, some are ground floor (near the pool) - you can req...
