Beautifully set with a stunning view over the Atlantic. The rooms are very tastefully decorated, the food is fantastic. Defintiely book dinner at the hotel! Nice pool and large balcony and veranda where you can sit and read or watch the world go by. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We stayed four nights at the domain and were very pleased. We have been to most of the Martinique and I think it is fair to say that the hotel itself is one of the most beautiful places of the island. The hotel is a beautifully renovated mansion nestled in a superbly groomed garden. The experience is made as authentic as possible so if you expect to watch your cnn news edition every evening, forget it!
The owner is very kind and helpful, food was excellent. Clearly the place to go when staying in the Martinique. Let's hope that these hard working people will be an inspiration for the rest of the island.

My wife and I had always wanted to travel to the French Caribbean, and finally had our chance. The Domaine was a great place to base out of to see Martinique. The property overlooks the Ilet de St. Aubin on the Atlantic Ocean side of the island, which is breezier and cooler than the Caribbean side. The rain forest on the north of the island - not to mention the Rhum JM distillery - are not far (and one of the most interesting drives that you will ever take), and to the south are the beaches of Tartante.
The owners are very relaxed and provide first rate faire - the vieux punch was a great treat while relaxing in the pool at the end of the day.
This is not a place if you want a resort, for that go to the other end of the island and stay there, Club Med awaits you!
We plan to return next spring and very much look forward to it, as this is a great place to turn off the cell phone and recharge your own batteries.

I went there for two weeks with my two daughters (12 and 16). We had a beatiful, air-conditioned room with a beatiful view of the ocean and the sunset. The food, made by Laurent, the owner and his wife, was great, and in my opinion, very good value for money. We ate at the hotel almost every night.
The rooms were clean - no bugs -- and Laurent, whose English is excellent, was always helpful, giving us inside tips on where to go.
The place is perfect if you want to just chill out and get away from it all. Forget disco, touristy restaurants, shops etc. Very personal, small and ambitious.

The pool is perfect if you want to go for a swim, the beaches nearby are wonderful, and you need to rent a car.
