We went with our 8 year old daughter to Vieques for Spring Break, being our first time there. Arriving at the villa felt like being welcome in paradise: the house in on a hill, secluded from the main road, with a gorgeous view on the forest and the coast. The main level of the villa has the gated parking, most of the rooms and a sun deck, while the lower level hosts the hot tub, the swimming pool and an outdoor kitchen with a barbecue.

We were able to spend a relaxing vacation, going to the beach in the afternoon and spending the mornings and evenings around the pool and the hot tub. I personally loved waking up, or swimming in the pool and being able to see the forest and the see. From almost any points in the house (rooms or deck/pool), you can see the coast.

The house is very well decorated and furnished. The living room is spacious with huge windows, satellite dish TV and internet is a plus (given the fact on living in such a small island)... The espresso machine was a nice touch (we are both espresso lovers...): this made us felt like being at home.

Every few days, the caretaker of the villa was coming and helped us with the questions or inquiries we had.

If we go back to Vieques, we will definitely stay again at the villa

My husband I stayed at Vila Gallego for four nights. We rented the studio, which fit our needs perfectly. The studio was clean, tastefully decorated and equipped with the essentials--small fridge, espresso maker, tv (we didn't actually use this), and a microwave, among other things. They shower was hot and had good water pressure (I understand that this can be an issue at some places on Vieques).
They also thoughtfully provide beach essentials--cooler, chairs, beach towels, etc. The grounds surrounding the home are well-maintained and lovely to wake up to.
Villa Gallega is little known around the island because it is secluded on top of a hill. The house and parking area are secured by a locked gate. There are great views from the patio just outside the studio and on the larger deck off of the main house. We were lucky enough to be at Villa Gallega at the same time that the owners were using the main house. They were extraordinarily friendly and helpful, even picked us up from the airport.

Our family of 5 spent a recent glorious week at Villa Gallega. The setting is spectacular, the house modern and well equipped. The beautiful house is set high up in the hills, affording stunning views of both sides of the island with steady breezes keeping the temperature pleasant. The house clearly reflects stong architectural nuances and is filled with great artwork, and an excellent Bose sound system. The very comfortable great room was just the thing for our 3 teenagers to relax, and the decks (2) a great place to watch the sunrise or set. The top level master bedroom and bath give privacy and the 2 main floor bedrooms worked well for 3 kids.

A car is required, and the villa convenient to both Esperanza and Isabel Segunda. The house is well equipped and while the kitchen is small it is adequate to prepare a few meals, and the Italian espresso machine a nice touch. We loved Villa Gallega, while the island is a bit rustic, retreating to the Villa gave just the bit of comfort to make it all a superb experience. We'll definitely return.

The first impression was tremendously surprising, which is the view of the ocean form the main deck.
I was very excited to walk inside the house and there was a very Calming, spacious, beautifully decorated, family room / living room which is great for entertainment, family moments.
It's the first room when you walk into the property and you immediately feel at home. The house was very clean, the bedrooms are cozy and inviting, nice artwork on the walls. I felt a tranquil, relaxing atmosphere to the house. The property is located in a great area, I realized is close to restaurants, the supermarket, and the beaches. I was provided great information, help and security by the very nice property managers.
This was a great experience, I would definitely return, I would definitely tell anyone I know about this great property.
