My husband and I spent 10 days at Evamer last week to celebrate our 5th anniversary. It was a fantastic location, Marc was always available for consultation or help with any ideas or questions we had. All of the previous recommendations are completely accurate. The beach where Evarmer is located is great for searching for sea glass and walking. The property of Evame is peaceful, quiet and serene. The waves right outside the windows of Mira Coco where we stayed were fantastic and lulled us to sleep each night. I would highly recommend this property - the reasearch and all the previous reviews say it all - you cannot find other properties with the amount of superb ratings like Evamer! We're hoping to come back in a few months with some other couple friends and would love to rent out most of the Evamer cottages - although they go quickly because they're all so lovely!

We just spent 2 weeks at Evamer in Vieques PR. Evamer was conveniently located near the town, not far from the beaches, and most importantly, near the gas stations. It is a beautiful spot and we found the studio apartment comlpletely adequate for two people. It was a wonderful vacation.

We chose Evamer because of the great reviews below, and found them to be very accurate. A wonderful setting, with the sound of the waves just below the property. Quiet and private. It turns out that lots and lots of people get married here, or choose El Cottage for a Honeymoon. It would be perfect.

A few things need repair or replacing. In particular, the coffee maker was disappointingly slow. But we are not complaining. We loved it!!

This was our third visit to Vieques and our first with friends. We chose Evamer based on Trip Advisor reports and are glad we did. You are very close to the ocean with fantastic views from all cottages and studios. (some people have a hard time sleeping to the crashing of the waves but we find it lulling) The grounds are extremely well cared for and the entire place has a relaxed and homey feel to it. This was the first time we actually swam in the ocean right in front of the property and it was a great morning wake up. The beaches in Vieques are all gorgeous and everyone on the island very friendly. We recommend Esperanza Riding Club if you want to go for a jaunt on one of the islands special breed of horses who have an amazing gait all their own called passo fino. We also recommend Veritas for dining at the Crows Nest - a new place this year with some great food (I thought the best on the island). Vieques is a laid back place with not much action so if you are looking for a relaxing time on an undeveloped paradise then its for you. If not, you can always check into the new W that just opened which we visited and found very “un-Vieques”. And Marc is the best, always knows the answer to all questions and has great recommendations. We actually got snowed out of returning to New York City and had to stay an extra night in one of the studios (which was fabulous). We’ve already booked our return for 2012!
