This property is BLISSFUL and Mary and Hector are very gracious hosts. I felt welcomed the moment I entered through their gates. The accommodations were perfect, the scenery unforgettable and the horses wandering about were the perfect backdrop. I am looking forward to another visit!!

We stayed here for the second leg of our honeymoon. The location is truly remarkable, just beside a horse farm on the one side and a small hotel on the other with an almost private beach just below. The woke up to walk down to the sunrise on the water every morning, watched the horses next door (plus the owner's stable of three plus the cat Tuco). It's not a hotel and doesn't have some of the mod cons some might want (tv, internet) but it's perfect for actually getting away. A nice pool and hot tub if you need a break from the beach (!) but very low key overall. The only thing that sort of detracted from the isolation was the booming music from the Malecon on the Saturday night but even that ended by around midnight. Very convenient for us to get to Red and Blue beaches and to the bio-bay at night on our tour. Remarkable place. Hector and Mary were also really helpful (especially before arriving). Oh yeah, loved the hammock too.

Mary and Hector were the best! My husband and I honeymooned here in Oct. 2009. We loved it and can't wait to come back. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves for our stay! Vieques is a must visit and Hector's is the perfect place to stay! Clean, rt near Esperanza, Wonderful view, awesome horses, gracious hosts, beautiful grounds. IT JUST DOES'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

This is our fifth trip to Vieques and Hectors. We are travelers who travel extensively in the Caribbean and central america and like to try new places. Somehow, hectors and vieques keep calling us back.
