For a lush, tropical retreat...along with privacy and personal friendly service from the owner Patrick...this has been our choice over the last 5 visits to San Juan, as with many other returning guests that we have met. Secure, convenient location, and great views of the Atlantic and city, the owners also provide guides to attractions, tours, nightlife and dining...We just relax - the details are handled by the innkeepers, unfortunately...the time flies by so quickly and we find ourselves planning our next trip to OPBI. We all read about the clean, simple accommodations that the guesthouses are known for in the Carribbean...what sets them to a higher standard is their lush atmosphere with coquis, song birds, tons of flowers - rooms with kitchenettes - spotless rooms and lots of outdoor areas - attention to details for a laid back stay - and Patrick's sincere interest in making our stay "what we want"...They know what they are doing!!!!
