Stayed at the Milano two nights Dec 30th and Jan 7th pre and between cruises. We’ve stayed here before a few years ago and knew what to expect, a well situated a bit run down 2 star plus hotel.
Our first night was completely satisfactory. Room 409 at the top of the hotel street view. Asked for and got a remote for the air conditioner and actually found the street noise not too bad at all especially for a Friday night.
Sadly our second night wasn’t as nice. Our room, one floor down had no working bedside lights. Apparently there was an electric problem that the hotel hadn’t had a chance to deal with. To make matters worse, there were no more remotes available to adjust out too cold air unit. Sleep was not great that night, Saturdays are louder I guess than Fridays plus we never got comfie thanks to the AC issue.
Two nights, one good experience, one not so great.
The Hotel is central to everything, the rooms are clean, the beds okay and the $ 5.25 roof top cold breakfast is okay, it’s just too there’s a bit of a lack to detail. What I rated as three stars has slipped to two IMHO.
Juan, buy more remotes for you AC units. One temperature setting for all doesn’t make for happy customers.
