Stayed 5 nights but even though we told them 5 times the air conditioning was not working they didn't fix it. We did get 2 free bottles of water each day and wonder if that was to make up for the room being warm. The first night the a/c made a loud thump every 20-30 minutes and scared the heck out of us. We called the front desk 5 more times and I think all they did was to disconnect the a/c unit. Consequently the room was pretty warm at night.

Room was $200 a night plus resort fee, plus tax, plus parking (yikes!) and seemed a bit tired. Walls were a bit dirty in the bathroom, seemed like cheap paint was used that couldn't be cleaned to get the dirt off the wall around the light switch.

Good location but some run-down or abandoned buildings next door and across the street. Was told it was not safe to walk on the street late at night.

We stayed at the hotel mainly because it was advertised that the hotel provided (and I quote) "A Beachfront Paradise Right at Your Doorstep". Instead, the beach was the size of a large sandbox facing a noisey highway. It was terrible. There were no waves, it was small, dirty, noisey and rocky. Coming to Puerto Rico for a beach vacation was simply ruined. I had to travel about 20 minutes to Isla Verde to get to a beach. When I did use the hotel beach, there was an $11 dollar charge to get an umbrella! I have stayed at the Marriott down the block on another trip and there is no such charge and the beach there was wonderful.

In addition, the toilet was dirty when we arrived and we found a piece of broken glass on the sink. When we returned to the room the second night at 9:00pm, no one had cleaned the room. Then, that same night, at about 12:30am, an alarm at one of the adjoining rooms went off and we had to call security to get them to take care of it. Finally, the television did not work - only the sound played but no picture. Honestly though, all this probably would not have upset us so much if the beach had been as promised.

In short, we were extremely disappointed and very upset with my stay. We have stayed at Hilton Hotels for years and have never had an experience as bad. For the price we paid (when you include takes was almost $350!), we could have stayed at the Marriott down the street and had a much better experience.

I would highly reccomend this hotel i feel i am kind of a snob when it comes to my accomadations this hotel met all my needs and expectaions don't hesitate to stay here splurge for the ocean view you will not be dissapointed . the restaraunts were good especialy loved the breakfast with a view . concierge was helpful parking is easy
i can't say one thing bad about this place .

Great modernist/minimalist decor, very comfortable rooms, nice garden with beach-side pool with slide for the kids and swim-up bar for parents.
