Im a bussiness woman from the southwest of the Island and everytime I have to go to San Juan I dont change my Hotel Iberia. I feel like Im going to my second house. The Owner always is very kind and I have been in almost all the rooms there and never had a problem. I was there in january and Im surprise about some reviews here because I have never found my room dirty. Always very clean and the staff is great and always treat me like Im part of the hotel. There is nothing fancy but the most important things are the clean rooms and how I feel there. Will be back soon.

This definitely is not your Ritz. But its the best you can get in under 100 bucks.

The rooms are small and they do a really good job of promptly cleaning up every day. The shower was really tiny but u get hot water. I traveled alone at that time. This actually worked out great. Its extremely cheap ($80 -$90) and safe. There is some parking spots right outside the hotel. Great location. Its very close to all the great restaurants, 24hr supermarket, laundry etc..

The staff is super friendly. The guy who runs the place is awesome. He is very generous with his advice and helpful hints. You are not going to find a better place at this location for the money.

We had to go to Puerto Rico on an emergency trip and this hotel was close enough to the airport and some of the comments on trip advisor were positive, so we booked it. Mistake.
The hotel has seen better days. It is worn and needs updates all around. The room was small, the bed uncomfortable. The shower is old and so are the closets. Old in the "needs to be updated" way, not the antique style. The air conditioner was noisy, and if we opened the window the street noise was worse. After trying to sleep for a few hours, we left as early as we could. We had settled the bill the night before. The rest of our stay in San Juan was in a much nicer hotel.

The good things about this lil place were:
- the owner, Christopher, who is hospitable and helpful, and
- the proximity to the 24 hr supermarket.

The room itself was average and good for crashing in at nite. But not the kind u wld want to spend an extra minute in.

The worse part of my stay was the bathroom, which was not only dingy and tiny, but also had a slow shower.

Though its not that far from Old San Juan, where we spent most of our time, the cost of commuting every night did add up pretty quickly.
