This is a nice place with very basic rooms, room service only every 3 days... for $60-70 a night this is a good choice....with prices increasing to $85-110 per night there are better choices with fridges included and daily room service. With these increases I will be staying elsewhere on my next visit.....

Simple rooms, but clean and spacious rooms, perfect beach location. We were two girls traveling together and the staff made sure we were well taken care of. It is in a prime location right on 7mile beach, with the beach not even 20 feet away from the doorstep. It's good value for money as places right next door were almost triple the price in peak season. They arranged a pickup for us from the Mobay airport and it was very convenient. I would definitely come back again.

I stayed in February of 2011 and truly enjoyed my time. Its located about a half a mile north of the round-about so close to the stores and market. The restaurant is literally less than 50 from the edge of the water and the rooms are close too so I could hear the soft sound of the waves each night. The food was good as was the Italian food just next door. I could walk 100 feet from my room, grab a beer, sit on the beach and get food. Can't get much easier that this! My room was$ 80 per night. I plan to go back next year to the same place!

Mom's Place is locate right next to the Bar-B-Barn on Norman Manley Blvd. We hired a taxi to take us from our cottage at Green Leaf Cabins and he drove us down a long lane right to the beach.

We were instantly in love with the location. It was 40 steps from our room to the bar and 20 steps more to the 7 Mile Beach. The beach scene is causal when compared to where we had stayed for the two weeks prior down by For Real, the big pink resort further away from town.

The owners and staff will go out of their way to make you feel at home.
