“It's only getting better & better!!”

I travelled to Negril with my husband this January 2012. We had a fantastic time at Seastar Inn. The staff are so awesome. Everyone who works there is professional and greets you with genuine care. I've stayed at places in the past where the staff are not genuine, they put on the "happy face" as they see you approaching. Seastar Inn staff are actually happy to be there. The rooms are just awesome. The rooms have very very comfortable beds, bath tub and shower, kitchenettes, lovely deck with table chairs and comfy hammock. As well the rooms have air conditioning (if you need/want it) as well as ceiling fans and screens on the windows, so no problems with mosquitos during the nights. Cellular telephones are available from the office if you need/want a phone and best of all the price includes a continential breakfast and the tax (which is about 16%) all included in the price.

The food is so delicious at Seastar. I have yet to have a bad or even not great meal. I had the BEST curried conch I've ever had at Seastar. The Saturday night buffett is incredible, tasty, hot and steamy.

The musicians, drummers and dancers just add to the awesomeness of Seastar Inn. Stephen West and the rest of the band are fantastic. The Seastar drummers and dancers are absolutely incredible. I LOVE this place!!

Room Tip: if you want a trip to the beach Seastar offers FREE ride to and fro each day.

“Quality Comfort & Attentive Service”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 February 2012

I have stayed at Sea Star Inn on several occasions during the past 5 years. The rooms are spacious, comfortably furnished and well maintained ....nestled amidst beautiful, vivid gardens and flora. Its located a 10 minute drive to/from the town center, and thus avoids the unpleasant press of tourist-magnetic higglers.
The staff, management and owners maintain Negril's ambient casual culture and unhurried pace, while also providing attentive service. The housekeeping staff is thorough, keep the room clean and have a pleasant disposition.
The bar is an engaging point of comity for guests and locals. The quality of the casual kitchen has improved.
While many of the small, family owned/operated hotel resorts in the Westend have stagnated, or declined, in the past few years, these owners have consistently made capital improvements which enhance the range and quality of guest services.
While invisible to the guest, They have also strengthened their water and power infrastructure which minimizes the frequency of interruptions, common in Jamaica, which drive business visitors to frustration.
Sea Star Inn has earned a positive rating from it's guests and merits a visit....and revisit.

“Best Resort in Negril”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

From the first time you step on this property you feel like it's home. They really go out of their way to make you feel like family here and it shows! SeaStar Inn is a really magical place with superior comfort, friendliest customer service and owners that really care about your stay with them. SeaStar has gone under an extensive renovation and no expense was spared. First off the rooms are huge and quite nice. The beds are all new and offer high end comfort. From talking to the owner Chris, the King Bed I had in Room #5 retails for $1,500US and no wonder it's so awesome! They change the linen daily with new towels and hand towels supplied daily. The maids are top notch and don't infringe on the guests like some places. The bathrooms are all tile with the a regular bathtub that has the shower. Plenty of hot water at all times and the A/C is more than enough to keep the rooms cool. All rooms have a table and chairs and hammocks on the balcony/veranda. The rooms are cheerful and pleasant with great satellite TV for your watching pleasure. My room had it's own sink, coffee make, refrigerator, dishes and flat ware too. The room also has a large table and chairs for eating at or playing on the laptop you brought down.
Breakfast every morning is from 8AM to 10AM and it's FREE! The coffee and tea is great and available all morning long. You can order off the menu for those that need the extras to round out your breakie. The whole dining area and bar area is now covered so no worrying about the elements now at the SeaStar Inn. They have great American and Jamaican food that reasonably priced including excellent pizza and it's AMAZING! Try the Cheeseburger that is the best this guy has had in Negril. Or opt for the Seafood Salad that Rocks! Everything is good mon. The Red Stripe Beers are frosty and the drinks are at your beckon call. The pool off of the bar has the swim up bar for those that can't manage getting out of the pool to get a drink. The new Bar is a custom 35 foot bar handcrafted by an Ochio Rios artistian. Alvin is one of the top bartenders in all of Negril and he'll always put a smile on your face. Don't forget SeaStar Inns 2 for 1 Happy Hour everyday from 4PM to 6PM!
On Saturday nights the SeaStar Inn has their infamous Buffet and Party. If you are a guest at SeaStar the cost is only $12 for the Great Buffet and Reggae Live Music.........tuff to beat.
The have Stephen West and the Roots Vibration Band as well as local singing legend Fernando. There are many guest artist that pop in from time to time and the SeaStar Drummers and Dancers round out the Saturday night Entertainment.
SeaStar Inn offers the low price of $25 to pick you up at the airport and the same price to bring you to the airport......not bad eh. SeaStar Inn offers a free Beach Shuttle down to the beach and back everyday.......leaves around 11AM and returns around 4PM.
Also at the SeaStar Inn every room comes with a free cell phone to use for your stay. Just buy the Digicel phone cards at any local store and call your friends and family on the cheap.
The Wifi is free and strong from anywhere at SeaStar Inn. I guess the staff is the best part as they all remember your name and bend over backwards to make sure you are having a great time......Clarol, Barbara, Samantha, Rochelle, Alvin, Garret, Henry and all the rest of the staff mi thank you from da bottom of mi heart. This is one place that doesn't nickel and dime to you to death and this guy really appreciate it! No wonder SeaStar Inn keeps their guest coming back and why this guy is making my reservations now!
This guy hated leaving as they practically had to push me on the SeaStar Bus to go back to the airport.........lol. Mi soon come back mon! Marko

Room Tip: All rooms are large including the lower price rooms and there really isn't a bad room in the pla...

“Great stay at Seastar Inn -- 5-star service at 2-star affordability”

I just returned. This was my second stay at Seastar Inn after being totally won over the first time, and the little gem is even better than before with renovations that has the place looking really nice.

The rooms are very comfy, great AC and great beds. Host Chris is like a trusted friend, and he provides great service. Whatever you want, he will do it. Very generous. If you're at the bar at the right time, he will even surprise with a free round. Try pulling that off on seven-mile beach .....

The food is exceptionally good, and so are the drinks, all at reasonable prices.

The pool is nice. There is a great show every Saturday night with headliners like Luciano and others, and the events are always well-attended.

The people there are nice, too. The staff has been there a long time, and the guests are always a fun mix of loyal returnees and wide-eyed newbies.

It's a great hotel to chill and relax, but if you want to really cut loose and do the whole "what happens in Negril stays in Negril" vibe, they're perfectly OK with that, too.

Room Tip: Book early because they sell out fast ...
