There is nothing like Negril, beach beautiful,happy people......sun sand..music. Star rating on this property is not correct.....have stayed at 3* - this definatly not one......more like a 1*. But you make the best of it....owners need to put some TLC and $$$$ into it and it could be much better. Walking distance to lots of Restruants,Bars,Reggae Music. Beachcomber often ran out of Supplies.....like Red Stripe.....how does that happen?? Staff were great, but not treated very well by owners (who live on property). We asked for some special requests from the kitchen and they did reposond.

The Beachcomber club was at one time a very nice resort.......the owners probably haven't invested a cent into maintainance in years.....they just keep putting Band-Aids on the problems and never fix anything properly......the Maids try and keep everything clean, but the place is just falling apart from neglect.....Pretty Sad!!.......The owners have no clue....."None".......
With a little money and someone with a little common sense to fix simple problems....the resort could be repaired to the point of being acceptable......they don't seem to be able to comprehend this simple fact..........Too Bad....the "Only" saving grace is the beach........everything else is falling apart.....

Not high end, not fancy, even a bit run down, but if you don't want to spend a hugh amount of money, if you don't mind 3 healthly meals a day, if don't mind really nice people, and a great beach.....you'll like it here. Stayed here a year ago and for the $$ we were pleased. Going back this year and decided to stay here again. Apartments are huge so we opted for one this year.

Stayed there last month. It is so sad to see how this once top of the line resort has deteriorated. Maintenance i.e, water leaks, are frequent. The staff works very hard to keep things going without much in the way of resources. The rooms are very dated but nice, spacious, decent beds. Linens seemed clean but old, scarce and dingy. We were not on the meal program. Were told we couldn't order off the restaurant menu, as the only food available was the sparce all inclusive buffet. ($25 per person) The great beach location and helpful staff make it tolerable. What is intolerable are the frequent outrageous outbursts of the female co owner toward the staff in front of the guests.
