“Hidden Gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2010

Wonderful and friendly place to relax on the beach. Staffing are very friendly and will assist you with all that is needed. Prime position on the 7 miles beach front and always clean. I would recommend getting a deluxe room. above basic. We had a basic room as we did not plan to stay inside much however i broke the key and they upgrade me (not minus the $15 fee for the replacement key). Regardles for this small charge i came out on top with a better room. Alot of wood is used as accent and is very well done. Gorgeous. The resturant is abit pricey however evertything is made fresh and from scratch from order.

Will be staying there again in Nov on next visit.

“Love the food here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 February 2010

I am the first to admit that I am a foodie, and Negril Palm Beach did not disappoint. The food was excellent - everything I tried was great. My meals were cooked right in front of me. Prices were reasonable as well.

The rooms were clean, but very dark (not a lot of natural light) which for me was an issue. The location of the property is great - a short walk from nightlife.

The staff were great. I even had a chance to meet the owner (from what I understand, the property was sold to someone else shortly after my trip) and he was wonderful - very nice man.

“Nice rooms, beautiful pool / beach area, great location and super nice staff”

Just got back from a week at the Palm Hotel in Negril. Rooms are pretty basic and right now only about half are available for guests. Appears the hotel is going through a significant level of remodeling - which it definitely needed. But what has been done is absolutely outstanding. Rooms are functional - queen bed, tv, air conditioner, ceiling fan, and a nice bath - not their to stay in the room all the time. We really loved the way they have setup the pool / restaurant / bar area. Pool is very nice and how they have set up couches with big cushy pillows is really cool. Location is also extremely convenient to most everything on the beach. What really made it for my family and I though was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. Food is really good across all three meals - would agree with someone's earlier note that the prices are a bit high but quality is very good. Several good restaurants close by including Norma's which is generally very good. I find at any of these tropical destinations the quality of a restaurant's food can vary widely from one day to the next - but generally can say the food at Norma's is always tasty. Would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for something other than the big all inclusives that are just around the corner in Negril. Luxury digs it is not - but offers a good value for the money and really a super group of staff to take care of you. Oh - and the beach is absolutely gorgeous!!

“Nice hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 June 2008

Ok. my 2nd visit to Negril beach. This beach and sea has got to be one of the best in the world, its just beautiful. So really the hotel doesnt matter as you will be on the beach.
The hotel is currently being renovated and should be completed Nov time. This we were not aware of, so the rooms were not completely finished, no light fittings, no curtains, no mossy nets but it is being decorated very nicely, modern and rustic. First impressions of the hotel are not exactly impressive but once we settled in it was just fine and I think it will be great when it is finished! The section of the hotel that faces the beach is beautiful, nice bar and restaurant, nice pool. They are trying hard to make this hotel very nice, not quite boutique as advertised, at least not to our expectations but saying that we would be happy to stay here again, good value for money, clean, welcoming, relaxing, we did not want to leave.

Me and my sister and 2 other friends stayed at the hotel for 1 week we had a great time the hospitality was great the food and service was wonderful.
It was my friends birthday and the effort they all made was lovely they arranged a cake which was amazing and had the best entertainment ever.
The 4 rooms we had were big very clean and even had a fridge!
I'd recommend people to stay there the hotel is facing the sea front and its lovely to see it first thing in the morning and last thing at night.
