I stayed at Negril Palm beach Hotel July 3-5, 2005. The rooms were clean. The staff didn't hesitate to take care of my requests. Natalie (restaurant)receives the most praise, she was very attentive to the group that I traveled with. The bar and dining area are outdoors and offer a view of the ocean while you drink or dine. Mr. Irving no longer owns the property, I heard only great reviews when he owned the property. I am not familiar with the new owners. The website pictures do a disservice to the actual look of the rooms. The furnishings do look a bit dated, but that didn't spoil my experience.

I have been staying at palm beach for 12 years now i am getting merried there in two weeks. I LOVE IT !! All the people at Palm Beach are wonderful and alwasy helpful with anything you need. everything is alwasy perfect and relaxing. i will alwasy go back.

The Palm Beach Hotel was a great 1 night stay, here's why:

Accomodating, friendly staff
Moderately priced/good tasting Restaurant on premises
Clean rooms
Right on the beach
Close to night club

However, if you need to stay in Negril for more than 1 night, then you should know that the hotel has:

Out dated decor
Loud air conditioners
Limited parking available

I stayed at Negril Palm Beach from Nov 8 - Nov 17, 2004. I normally stay at another hotel in Negril, so was unsure of what to expect at this hotel. I had scanned their website, and read the only reviews written about this hotel, and decided that I would book it for my first 3 nights there. I would then evaluate it, and decide if I wanted to stay there, or move to another hotel. From the phone call to the hotel to book the reservation to the time that I checked out of the hotel, the staff was very, very pleasant. They knew me by my first name and did everything to make sure that my visit was pleasant. After the 3 nights, I had decided to stay as the room was very clean, staff was nice, food was great, and I loved the location. They also have a sunset cruise that is included with the room, but I was unable to go, as I had plans outside the hotel. If you are looking for a hotel that is economical, clean, and where you feel like family...... go to Palm Beach. I will be going there the next time I visit Negril. Stop by and say Hi to Natalie for me..... she is a sweetie along with the others.
