We have just returned from Hedo II and once again had a wonderful vacation. Thank you to Beverly Foster for fulfilling our room request on the nude beach – room 2210 was on the beginning of the nude beach and was also centrally located to all of the other resort’s amenities. As with our visit last year, the service just seemed to get better and better. From the helpful people at the front desk to Marlene with her welcoming smile at the nude beach bar, everyone was an outstanding example of Jamaican hospitality. Service and meals in both the Japanese and the Italian Restaurants were top-notch and the buffet selection and quality were also very good. Winston, who seemed to appear out of nowhere-everywhere was extraordinarily talented and entertaining. From side-kicking with Desmond in the piano bar to organizing the nude water slide takeover to emceeing on the center stage at night he left us with an impressive array of fond memories.
I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that it was a pleasant surprise to see Delroy back behind the nude beach bar. It was also good to see that Serena was recognized for a well deserved promotion. We ran into her a few times and she still has that irreverent, sassy approach to everyone she meets !
Interestingly, we ran into two couples who were first timers at the resort - a young couple in their twenties who were so glad to have found the resort and an couple in their late fifties who wished they had found the resort much sooner. Both couples declared that they were definitely coming back. Tellingly, both couples shared the same qualities. Both wanted to lead interesting lives and both were non-judgemental in terms of their approach to others. We'll be back next year.

I stayed at this resort during the ATI events in July. Which is a great time to party and have fun. We got a good deal for an all inclusive on the room. With that said I think the rooms were very out -dated and ugly. The on-site beach isn't very nice at all. Your better off going down to Margaritaville to enjoy the beach.

The food was very bland and the drinks (alcohol) watered down. Now that's not to say that the staff was bad because they weren't. Actually all the workers I came into contact with were great.

What confused me about this hotel is all the hype that surrounds the whole 'adults only' all inclusive. I was down right grossed out by 40, 50 and 60 year olds walking around naked or in stripper gear. I was not ready for that!!

If you stay here do it with a large group so your sure to have fun and not as a couple. It seems the other couples there thought we were willing to swap partners. NASTY and borderline creepy.

We did one excursion the catarman cruise. We were able to snorkel and swim through a cave close to the cliffs. It was really nice and a lot of fun. The only strange thing is that we were picked up on the beach at the hotel but dropped off at the sandals resort and told to walk back to our hotel. We did but it was weird.

Personally, I will not stay here again. There are to many great hotels in Negril to chose from!

Annual January to Hedo II...Trip number 24. Sadly Charlie is no longer doing eggs as I understand he and another staffer got into a tiff and the resort chose to remove Charlie after 30 years. Augustus is sadly no longer on the nude side...what a loss...loved that Hedo brother every morning. Scumba is not at DelRoy's either. What the hell is going on with the staff? 2 entertainment coordinators left during my last stay (Jan 14 - 28) and the rest, while talented does not have the personallity of some of the coordinators of years gone by.

On a positive note, there was a new chef and you could tell by the upgraded food and the different selections on the buffett line.

The resort is still a friendly place, guest and staff, and I continue to go back annually. This was trip number 24 and I have made reservations for weeks 2 and 3, January 2013. It is true, the rooms could stand remake, update, but I only use the room for shave, shower, sleep and inviting "friends" in for afternoon delights.

For whatever reason, some senior staff felt the need to exercise their authority at the nude pool, telling some of the female guess to get 100% naked or leave the pool area and if not, leave the resort. This was so over the top that guess are being told to leave the resort. General Manager, call your senior staff to task, get them back under control. Everyone knows and continue to come to Hedo II for the sun and sand and fun...wicked for a week, and there are never anyone causing troubles. Why bother with 100 nude, when all that the ladies wear are the tinest bikini bottoms.

Lastly: KUDOS to Sophie, Anna, Grace, Paulette, Delroy, Scumba, Ray and Fuzzy. You always greet one and all with "welcome home" and I for one, truly do appreciate seeing you all. General Manager...Given any thoughts to a new building in some of the open space...4 story building and then, one by one, upgrade the remaining buildings?

We really enjoyed the food , beach , entertainment and the people [ guests ] and the folks that work there . Yes the room could use some TLC but it was still very clean . This room was still good compared to some other places we have been in . Grounds , lounges , pools , beach all kept clean and tidy Plans are to go again
