It's only fair to tell people who want to get away from the main beach. The water is great for snorkeling or a dip if you get too hot, the bar serves ice cold drinks and the restaurant does a fantastic grilled lobster ($18 US for a whole lobster).
From the roundabout its 15 miles north, towards MoBay. You can take a route taxi but probably easiest if you call and ask for a ride or negotiate a taxi. Be aware too that the Wild Thing cruises stop their for lunch, so it can be busy between 11-1, but after that, you will just be sharing the beach with at most a dozen people. Say hello to the twins if you go :)
