We have just returned from a 7 night stay at The Blue House. Yes,it is just as beautiful as the pictures. The food and hospitality were excellent. We look forward to returning.

Excellent Food - healthy greens, fresh fruits for breakfast, fish, poultry and meats with a ariety of choices. A variety of Jamaican favorites with a Chinese twist. Darrel was our jovial chef with culinary talents and a grat attitude to match.

Rooms: Were very nice with nice clean sheets and wonderfully colored walls and furniture. we also had a wonderful view to the outside gardens.

Service: Elise was a great host and we had good converstion and company while we were there. everyone there was so helpful !!! Definately look foward to returning

Stayed at the blue house on the last night of a two week tour of jamaica as a treat before heading on to montego bay for a flight. The building itself is a beautifully maintained traditional jamaican house. The service from the various staff at dinner and breakfast was second to none and everyone goes out of their way to ensure everything is just so. The food prepared by the bare foot chef daryl is wonderful and we could hardly finish. The gardens the house is set in are beautifully maintained and elise (out hostess) and strive to make a little peice of paradise. We literally spent all of our time on the balcony watching and hearing the various hummingbirds feed from the sugar water she provides. I can highly recommend the blue house as a base to explore jamaica or even as a one night stop over.

Loved the setting: beautiful lush gardens and view, away from the hustle and bustle but still close enough to go enjoy the nightlife if you want. The pure and clear white river just seconds away to enjoy! Let me recommend the hammock!!! We spent HOURS just rocking and taking in the scenery and watching the pretty hummingbirds and drinking rum punch! Owner Elise and her wonderful staff are warm, welcoming, knowledgeable, and accommodating. It's like being pampered at home! AND THE FOOD!!! I LOVE Chef Darryl's amazing food!! ALWAYS mouth-watering!! Smells great! Looks scrumptious! TASTES AMAZING!!! Can't wait to visit again!!! THANX BLUE HOUSE!!!
