Unit #24 at Chrisann's exceeded our expectations. This was our home from Jan 31 - Feb 7 and could not have been happier with our choice (not all units are the same). #24 is by far the prime unit to be in and is located on main floor and is only a few steps to the pool and to the ocean. Owner Daniela made the arrangement process so easy, we communicated via email and Daniela always responded promptly. The owners Daniela & Garrett are artists and have decorated their unit in vibrant Jamaican colors and have not missed any details (Check out VRBO #327158 and see for yourself). We cooked many meals during our stay and did not want for anything. Daniela had arranged a private driver (Christie) for us from the airport and he was wonderful and we ended up arranging a few other tours with Christie during our stay as well. We highly recommend Chrisanns - UNIT #24.

Me and my husband stayed in Apt 24 owed by Daniela and Garrett Came from January 12th to January 22nd and we want to say that their condo is more than what we expected. The condo is decorated so beautifully in vibrant colors, beautiful paintings and wonderful carvings which really give you the real flavor of Jamaica. The condo is equipped with everything you would need and really gives you that at own home feeling with the luxury of the beautiful ocean and palm tree views from both the bedroom and living room space. I felt comfortable from the beginning of our reservation process to the day we arrived in Jamaica. Daniela stayed in contact throughout the entire visit. The staff at Chrisanns was amazing, including our housekeepers Kathy and Sharmaine, to the security guard Godfrey and maintenance person Trevor. We have so many beautiful memories of not only the condo but the wonderful people we met in Jamaica. We cannot wait to return in 2012. Thank you so much Daniela for everything. We stayed in apt. 31 in Dec/Jan 2010 and must say that was nothing special. Furniture and fixtures are from 1980's with multiple coats of paint that ask for upgrades. Kitchenette extremely small and not practical obstructed by fridge in the middle. Size of that apartment itself is good and accommodating.
View from balcony is the only excellent feature of that apartment. Bedroom facing pool area has a/c condensing unit 3 ft. away from your bedroom window and if weather is hot and people staying in next apartment use air conditioning in their bedroom you can forget about sleeping. Little beach is perfect if you travel with small children, because water there is only 3 ft deep. If you like swim or snorkel you need to make your way between big rocks to open sea, but for that to happen wait until sea is calm, otherwise waves will throw you against big rocks that you see on pictures.
If you like beach walks in the sun like we do, this place is not for you, nearest beach that you can do that is about 15min walk from Chrisanns called Reggae beach for which you need to pay at the gate about $9.50 US per person and is not very long either.
Chrisanns is located about 5 km from Ocho Rios in quiet area which is beneficial with restaurant and Jerk center directly across from it. There is also small grocery store with limited selection where you can buy few basic supplies. Staff at Chrisanns is helpful and friendly which helps your stay. We travel throughout Caribbean Islands every year but this time we missed out on location.
If you insist on going to Jamaica do better research then we did to find other location for your deserved beach vacation.

Chrisanns apt 9 was the best vacation I've ever had. Dulcia the owner, made me feel comfortable from the start when she called me when inquiring about the apt. She kept me informed aboiut everything from the weather to buying rubber shoes at Walmart.
Im so happy i stayed at Chrisanns. It was perfect for me and my friend. We loved apt 9, the staff, pool, private beach, gazebo and location. Im going back soon and there will be no doubt where i will be staying. Thanks Dulcia
