We stayed for a week at Morgans harbour. We went to Kingston for a wedding so we were not there as tourists. This hotel is a good 20 or so minutes out of the city which had pluses and negatives for us. The plusses were that it was peaceful, quiet and felt very safe. Port Royal, the small village a short walk away, is safe to walk to and visit. I never felt unsafe anywhere at the hotel or near the hotel.
The negative,for us, was that we didn't have a car so could not easily get to Kingston. A taxi hire is expensive. Thankfully we had friends from Kingston who took us into the city.
We really liked the staff at Morgans. Everyone from the pleasant room maids, the desk people, the bar tenders and waiters to the nice marketing manager, Kaisha, were exceptionally helpful and friendly.
The view across the harbour to Kingston is beautiful. We loved sitting on the pier, which is the dining room, watching the Pelicans, fish jumping, and large ships going by.

Regretfully there is lots of trash floating in the water, mostly plastics, and where that floats into the hotel tidal pool it collects and distracts from the beauty of the grounds. That is something that should be addressed.
Our room was large, spacious, comfortable and clean.
All in all, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay there again if we should ever return to Kingston.

Enjoyed it here. very friendly staff, They picked me up and returned to airport, even came back when my flight was late in the evening. Room was large and relaxing. Cable TV was OK but went down for 24 hours. Liked the dinner and bar. Breakfast was included, same thing every day but nice, and lovely to sit by the water, some days the radio playing at breakfast was a bit too loud, as its nice just to relax there. I walked down to Port Royale, I felt slightly uneasy walking through the town, I had no probelms but felt a bit initimidated. Every person I spoke to were pleasant though, including at the airport, no wander it takes so long to get through imigration. Went to Lime Cay which was very good, (wear shoes, broken glass on the beach) but they only go if more than one person, so I had to wait for more to go later in the day. Lots of mosqiuto bites. My return flight delayed 24 hours and was able to stay the extra night. They are not good at returning emails, Still waiting for my bill print out. Overall though, very good. I suggest it would be nice to hire a car to go out if staying for a week. The pool is OK, they closed it one day though. The harbour has rubbish floating about and into the hotel water edge.

Just came back from visiting a family member. Hotel is ideal. Best value for your money & area. I did not see anything comparable in the kingston area. Very close to airport. Food was great. Drinks were top shelf. Rooms clean & big. Also, has a free air bar and resturant and is very romantic under the stars. Don't forget to visit Lime Cay - private island.

I stayed and loved the great atmosphere. Scenic beautiful harbour view and quiet mornings on the waterfront for breakfast. Teh rooms were more pleasant than I would have guessed. Enjoyed my stay.
