A magical experience. A cultural experience with excellant hospitality and service. What I liked best is waking up at Blue Heaven. What l liked least was having to leave. Nestled on the Carribean in the small village of Long Bay with 1 1/2 miles of virgin white sand beach. We the the privacy of the cove at Blue Heaven and a short walk to Long Bay beach. The room was decorated in good taste and was very clean.

This property is one of the worst that I have ever experienced. If you need to stay at a rustic property in Jamaica especially Portland stay at Yahimba, Blue Heaven is disgusting. The beds are like rocks they (workers) make too much noise for anyone to get a decent night sleep. The property is an embarrassment to Jamaica's tourism product

We stayed at Blue Heaven back in November and it was a fine B&B. It has a cabin feel and your room is perched right on the beach so every morning you wake up to a magnificent view. For budget accommodations this place offers a lot of charm but make sure to bring your own towels, toiletries, etc. You can't beat the price.

The Blue Heaven guest House cheated me out of a fully paid 2 nite stay.I paid for my stay thru Paypal.Blue Heaven never sent me a confirmation of payment and booked dates even though they recieved my prepaid funds.When I arrived ,Maxine the guest house host, was verbally abusive to me.Maxine tried to extort another $72 from me and when I refused,she did not allow me to stay at the guesthouse for the 2 nites that I prepaid.When I tried to resolve the problem with John White the owner of the property in a respectful manner,Mr. White also was verbally abusive and threaten me.Maxine told me that she hates renting rooms to Americans.My experience with the Blue Heaven Guest House was the most humilating and degrading experience in my 33 years of travel.
