We stayed there for 2 nights because the Hotel Roi Christophe was fully booked and we didn’t regret it.
It’s a rather new hotel, nicely furnished and it has a real charm. Most rooms are facing the sea. Though most of Haitian buildings are fenced, the hotel is not and we felt very secure during our stay there.
The rooms are large, clean, have a silent air con and a large bathroom.
It's a very calm place and you are not disturbed at all by any noise coming from the street.
Breakfast was served on the terrace facing the sea. We had the choice between lots of different combinations, tasting all as good as they were sounding. Service is quick and perfect.
Dinner here is excellent too. The menu card lists dishes that differ from the menu cards at the other hotels. So if you want an excellent dinner served in a very stylish way, this is the place to go.
If you don’t want to have dinner there, the open-air restaurant “Lakay” is just a few steps away. There is a little supermarket a few steps away too.
