The hotel is very clean with great maid service. The receptionists are excellent especially Mulaire and Ginette. However, the kitchen service is horrible because of lack of staff. I takes more than 2 hours to order breakfast or any kind of meal. There is no free or continental breakfast (it does not come with the $ 84 US/per night charge) . IF they hire more people in the kitchen I believe things will work out better.
One thing I did not like the OWNER charges guests from $ 3 to 5 USD to warm up food in the microwave. I keep my receipt as proof. As part of courtesy, as it is in every hotel that I stayed, there should be a microwave in the lobby for guests,
Anyway, besides of these flaws, the hotel remains one of the safest places to stay in Haiti.

I stayed here with my fiance, before we went to a rural village for a mission. It was refreshing to be somewhere in Haiit with running water, a toitlet, and even a swimming pool. The food was good, the rooms were clean, and it was relaxing in the evening. Will stay again for sure. Next time will request one of the rooms with an air conditioner.

Was in PaP for a week and all the higher end hotels in Pieton ville were booked solid. Ended up at the Auberge which is about 1.5 hours (with traffic) away from that area. Keeping in mind it's Haiti, it was a great spot. Rooms were clean...staff for the most part helpful...and food was good. The downside is that you're pretty much going to be stuck in the hotel after dark. Areas of Pieton Villa are a bit safer and you can leave the property to go have off-site dinner. But this place is safe, comfortable and functional.

I stayed for a week and the service and helpfulness of the staff was great. The pool was well kept. The pea soup in the restaurant was to die for:-) The internet is very slow:-(
