Stayed and this very easy going resort for the kick-off of Haiti's recycling program by CSS Haiti, Samaritans Purse and Executives without Borders. We were greeted by the very friendly desk and escorted to our newly renovated room. Very clean and updated with a fantastic view of Wahoo Bay and the out islands. The grounds were beautifully manicured, Genevieve's pride and joy. Jennifer the Manager made sure our stay was comfortable and up to this resorts high standards. The pool and surrounding areas were clean and well kept. The beach was private and beautiful with small Tiki huts and tables. The restaurant was open air and very island style. You must have the grilled lobster one of the best I have had from Maine to L.A. Restaurant service is a work in progress and I am sure it will improve with training and time. Aside from a couple generator shut down, which really did not affect our stay we had a wonderful experience.
This struggling country ha much to offer the adventerous traveler.

Went here for a beach day on our Missions Trip. For Haiti, it was a nice place. The key words being "for haiti". Our toilet had trouble flushing and sometimes the water would just turn off randomly during a shower. The beach was nice, but be careful of the crate platforms, they will clamp your fingers. I felt the music at the beach was too loud (not exactly relaxing) and the the volleyball court was not a great place to play, very rocky. Other than that, the beach was clean, the food was good and it was pleasant place to stay.

i am going back to Haiti in Jan 2011. it is a really good hotal!!!!

My wife and I along with our 2 year old daughter took a little trip to Haiti in September 2009. We went to Wahoo Bay Beach and check out after two nights. The room had no phone, no tv, the bathroom was in horrible condition and the electricity went out during the day. I understand i'm in a third world country but what they charging for this dump is amazing. If you charging this amount of USD$, you should be providing US standard of living. This place is not even equal to a motel standard. Haiti is not ready for foreign tourist at all.
