Hotel Cocoplaya is a five minute walk south of the town center. It has a beachfront terrace and 10 nicely decorated rooms, each with private bathroom, television, balconette, and air-conditioning. The two large front rooms have Ocean view and bigger balconies. Breakfast is included in all rates, and the beachfront dining terrace and lounge serve drinks and evening meals.

Overall review:

Located on the bay of the main village on Terre de Haut, Iles des Saintes, Guadeloupe. Formerly the Jeanne d'Arc, the hotel's new owners have redecorated this ten-room hotel situated directly on the beach. Each room is tastefully decorated with an international theme, and has shower, balcony, air conditioning, telephone, television. Longer stays can sometimes get lower rates. Rates include breakfast. A special dinner menu is extra, and available every night but Thursdays. The covered lounge and dining area opens onto the beach, and the reception area has cozy seating and television.

The beds are firm and this is not a five star property. But it is super for service, location, and value. Bring a flashlight, though, as there are often power cuts on the island. When we were there the hotel was looking into getting their own generator :)
