This was paradise, Adam and Eve left and we came in!! Hector made all our dreams come true. Staff was incredible. Everyone took such good care of us and people never stopped cleaning.The food was the best, one day they didnt have bacon on the buffet so my husband asked them and they made us a big plate!! The best steaks I ever had and im from Ontario Farm area! We cut them with a butter knife!! Mar Norstrom a ala Carte had lobster and we asked for a steak to go with it!! NO PROBLEM...extra potatoes NO PROBLEM! We also ate at the Mexican al a carte, great steak, wings, mottza sticks, etc.....Italiian had great lasagna. Buffet always had tons of food! Beach party on Saturday nights! FUN FUN, Beach market down the beach to the left, a little pushy but go the end first to see what they have.

This is our third trip to this hotel and what can I say that I haven't said before. This year we brought along three couples with us, one it was his second time and the other two their first. Sorry people out there, I still don't have any negative example to give you. From the reception to the bell boy and to our room eveything was done fast. We again met with all the staff at the hotel. Their friendly smile and excellent service that was provided was excellent. At this resort everything is close, the beach, dining room, pool and room. We will definetely come back again next year, and who knows i might have more of ny friend come also. Special thanks again to Hector and Raphael.You sure know how to make your guest at ease. Gracias

We traveled with a group of 12 and had our wedding at PCP. Let me just say, I was so pleasantly surprised with how easy and problem free our wedding was. I put n my dress and that was it. The rest was taken care of. Francelia, you did an amazing job, thank you so much.
As for the resort, it was beautiful. Well kept, close to the beach and full of friendly smiling faces.The food was great and always available. We went to the disco, which was a blast. Spent many nights sitting at the beach bar chatting with people from all over the world. I am not sure why people complain about the lack of night life. With a small resort, you can't have things going on all night, this is why they offer to take you to the sister resorts or other places for free. It is the same at all adults only resorts of less than 300 rooms. All you have to do is ask and they will tell you how and when.
Even though they do not except reservations, Manuel made sure we had a table for 12 at any restaurant we wanted, including the buffet. We never asked, he just offered.
I really have nothing to complain about. We went for a good time, and had a great time. We didn't waste time picking apart silly little things.
IMPORTANT: If you would like to go directly to the resort from the airport, spend the money and take a taxi. PCP is the last stop on the bus route and the first pick up back to the airport which takes from 1.5 to 2 hours each way. They will tell you different, but we timed it. Also, make use of the luggage scales in the lobby before you arrive at the airport. They do not allow overweight bags at all and will make you rip everything apart.

I can't give 5 stars, because there is always room for improvement, but overall, it was fabulous.

p.s. We will always remember our new friends from Germany, Philly, and Winnipeg.

Just back from a 2nd trip to PCP Jan 27-Feb 3. This trip did not disappoint us & it was nice to see familiar staff. Staff at this resort treat you like their own family. Nikki, Emmanual, Naybe, Nelson, Hector, Jose, and to ALL of you who made our vacation fabulous - thank you. Dan will be sending your pictures via email shortly to you.
They are now attempting to dissuade guests from booking seats at the beach or pool providing notes to explain if you do not return within 30 minutes to feel free to remove towels & take the chair (although in reality it does take a little longer to eat so please give us a wee bit more time). This we hope will prevent the people who get up so early to try to reserve both beach & pool chairs which is frustrating to all. Remember your on vacation & the towel game is soon coming to its end, thank goodness.
Yes this is a quiet resort & not much night life, that's why we go - after a full day in the sun we head to bed early - you do have the opportunity to enjoy the two sister resorts fun evening shows/disco so no one should complain that they didn't know. The food as always was delicious, rooms cleaned, drinks wonderful, beach fabulous - who really could complain.
We plan on returning March 2013 for our 3rd trip to PCP and cannot wait! Thanks again ALL. Marlene&Curtis - Halifax, NS
