Just got back from 7 days in a Jr. suite with a great view! Even tho our hot tub didn't work, my husband enjoyed soaking in it and relaxing. Our room was clean and restocked every day. We did leave a few $ now and then, but didn't feel like we HAD to. I did complain once to the concierge that off and on our room had a terrible sewer smell, but it seemed to be a plumbing issue throughout the resort because we smelled it in several locations, especially when the lawn sprinklers were running.
We were way down the beach near the adult only resort, but you could walk anywhere in 5 minutes or less. We walked daily over to the golf club and it never felt like it was that far.
If you are a foodie, and enjoy great meals on vacation, then this is not the place for you. The food is adequate, but nothing to write home about. Drinks were good. Lots of name brand liquors. I loved the "Miami Vice with rum". You must say rum or you will get a virgin cocktail.
I've been in better casinos' on cruise ships.
We only saw one show - the Michael Jackson show on Friday night. Not very good....
The beach is definitely the BEST!!! Windsurfers, catamarans, paddle boats.....all included!
My husband and friends golfed almost every day and they said the golf course was awesome! They also thought the staff at the golf course went above and beyond!
We had a great vacation with great friends - all of us American, and we never felt like we were treated differently or given poor service. We would visit again, but hope the food gets a little better!
