We can't say enough good things about Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana ! Right from the front desk, Roberto and Sheruly, our room lady Nalda, Juan at the Pool Bar, Simon, Alberto & Nayki from the World Cafe and the beach (morning, noon and night - everyday) These men walk, trot and run to look after your every need ! My legs couldn't take all the walking they do in that sand. The Entertainment Team - Fabulous ! Gasolina, Candyman, Cappucinno, Iliana, Astry, Omar, Elvil, and all the others that I can't remember their names. If you weren't smiling, then there is something wrong with you. The Explorer Club sure was a hit with our grandchildren, Patricia, Lucy and Alwilda - Super ladies looking after and entertaining kids of all ages. The pools were clean and refreshing. The beach was kept clean of seaweed by fellows that started early in the morning raking and forking it to take it away. Mother Nature makes their job to be neverending. The Gazebo Bar and entertainment each evening we looked forward to everyday. Mary, our waitress there in the evenings is so sweet and obliging, I would have loved to bring her home with us, she is a darling. If you go, please tell her that you heard about her from Poppie and Mommie ! Daisy, Johanni and Marlenny from the lobby bar have beautiful smiles and looked after us to the limit. The staff this year is an assett to the Dreams Resort. Overall, you can't go wrong with this resort. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did, and will go back for the 3rd time, but probably won't fly with Sunwing, that is a horse of a different colour !

Just came back from Dreams Palm Beach.

The location is good and the staff are friendly.

The food was second-class and mostly unpalatable. The various cuts of meat and fish on the menus are all the same; you may as well order "the flank steak" or "white fish". It was never very hot and often soggy from the humidity and length of time on display. Some of the "heat lamps" aren't even hot - they're just lamps over the food. The dairy products are left unrefrigerated for hours.

All activities listed on their site as taking place in their "Outdoor Theatre" really occur in the windowless "Conference Center". This includes "Shows in our large outdoor theater", "Movies on the beach" and "Superbowl Sunday". It claims all bars serve premium brands, but the bar attached to the conference center serves one draft beer and generic rum and whiskey.

Exaggerations are also made about the Preferred Club benefits. "Upgraded mini bar service": not unless the regular rooms have "no mini bar". They contain 2 Presidentes / 1 Coke / 1 Diet Coke / 1 Orange Soda / 1 Orange Juice Box. "Upgraded bath amenities": 2 toothbrushes and 1 mini tube of Crest toothpaste. If you have to go (for a wedding), don't bother upgrading to Preferred. We won't be returning to this or any Dreams resort.

I can't say enough about the GREAT time I had with my 2 sisters the last 7 days. I will definitely will be returning someday. Sooner than later I hope. There wasn't one person that didn't go out of their way to make you feel special. We made so many new friends from other places along with the staff like Gasolina, Candyman & Simone. It was really hard to leave and come back to reality. I can not say enough about the food. We never had a bad meal starting from the hamburger and cheese fries at the beach to all of the nightly meals at the restaurants. the nightly entertainment was great. We were there for the Super Bowl Party. They went out of their way have the feeling you were there. In one word EXCELENTE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't thank the staff anymore here at Dreams Palm Beach, Franklin, Cappuccino, Candyman & the rest. great fun made our holiday very special. The shows were fantastic, hilarious! Their attention was sensational, so sad we're leaving..we'll be back!!!!!!!!!!!
