The staff is not only friendly, but extremely helpful! The rooms vary in price from $35 to $60 and all include breakfast in the morning. While it's a little off the main streets, it's location is prime for those wanting to explore zona colonial. Safety was never an issue for us, but they have a security guard present all night and lock everything up day and night. I would highly recommend this place to any one looking for a cheap option that is also high quality!

Spent 2 nights at the Foreigners. Compared to some of the places I've stayed at in Santiago de los Caballeros, this place is like Buckingham Palace! Friendly staff, clean rooms, fantastic continental breakfast, very safe part of town and within walking distance to the main attractions in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone. If you are looking for a simple economical option in the city, this is the place. Will definitely be staying here again.
