I was expecting to stay for 3 weeks I stayed only for 3 nigths.
There was no hot water on my room. The kitchen did not work (no gas) , They were very reluctant to change me to another room,.. When they changed me to another room there was hot water yes, BUT NO KITCHEN!!! Finally they told me that they did not have a room with kitchen and hot water!!!!!
The receptionist was not very friendly (nothing to do with other people I know from Dom. Rep.).
I would not recommend this hotel at all!!!!!

Booked this venue with a large group, made the mistake of paying the entire stay up front. Went to the hotel and it looked nothing like the photographs indicated on the website. The bed I slept on was concave with itchy blanket and bad sheets. I woke up and found blood spots on the bed from where I had been bitten by jumping spiders. Then saw the jumping spiders...jumping...on the bed. Tried to take a shower and the water was tepid, bathtub was filthy. Bathroom has no ventilation, smells like years of sewage had accumulated. Skipped breakfast as was utterly repulsed. Tried to speak to management about getting a refund, as CLEARLY STATED in their withdrawal policy, was expected to receive all the funds back lest the deposit. After days of avoiding my phone calls and telling me the owner had LEFT TOWN, finally got an attorney to get the funds back. The manager says that because I had paid in full (they kept emailing me to pay in full to secure the booking for our group, even though we had already paid the deposit) they had ALREADY USED THE FUNDS and couldn't return it. Attorney gets nasty, approximately 2/3 of the payment is refunded, lest the 10% deposit (FINE) and an additional 1/3 for which they claim was for "taxes". The staff were friendly and helpful but management and owner of this place were evasive and rude, not to mention crooked. DO NOT STAY HERE.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel and were in love.... It was a great experience. We had power the whole time there. The breakfast was good and the service was great!! Totally recommended. We are going back there this summer.

Please do not ever stay in this hotel. Service is horrible. I almost got electrocuted in the shower. They did not even bother to upgrade me after the hole bathroom went up in flames. Please be aware of this terrible establishment. Only in the Dominican Republic! Please go somewhere else!
