spent a few winters on island. good memories of anselm ansan or his real name ?but "kent" is a great ol;der guy with a large network of freinds and family.

Roseau is a hot place in the summer with not much to do. With the rest of the island being so green and fresh, you're best off to leave the city as soon as possible.

Kent Anthony is dusty and very casual place, run by some friendly people. It's best feature is the location.

We stayed here for 6 nights in early December under the belief that we were to pay $27 a night for the room. We agreed on this on arrival and everytime we tried to pay the owner refused and kept saying 'another time'. He was very friendly until it was time to pay and he charged us $27 each! The rooms are crap and tiny, with no hot water for the entire week and no air-con.
We would never have stayed here if we new how much he was charging, the price is an unbelievable rip off for what we got.
I would reccommend anybody travelling to Domimica to stay away from Kent Anthonys, it's not worth it at all!
We paid less to stay in a resort previously.

was a while ago, but, boy, this place is a flea pit! the bug bites and noises thru the neighbouring room's cardboard wall had me awake each of the miserable 6 nights i stayed there... avoid!!!
