I've stayed at a lot of hotels in the Caribbean and anotehr local hotel in Dominica. My "Excellent" rating is based on comparrisons to the rest of the Caribbean market. Don't take this as an equivilent to the Ritz....but when it comes to a nice clean room, great food, an excellent wait staff and an outstanding dive opperation....this is my top shelf recommendation on where to go to. How long are you really in a room to begin with. The water was hot for showers, cable TV, Free Wi-Fi is a plus too. The dive guides were a lot of fun and knew the sites extreemly well - along with the local sites and trivia. The diving there is unspoiled and probabaly the best I've seen in the Caribbean.

This place is a gem, clean comfortable rooms, right next to the sea, excellent food especially the breakfasts with freshly squeezed different juices each day. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make sure everything was perfect. The bar is lovely right by the sea for sunset views. The diving was superb, the gear in good condition, great boats, the staff are exceptional. Can't wait to go back already....Thanks!

One stop for room, board and diving plus capacity for setting up excursions. Staff are helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are outstanding and the food overall is very good. Wonderful bar on the ocean as well!

Just returned from a week at this dive lodge and really loved it! Firstly, let me say that I wouldn't stay here if I weren't diving as the rooms and grounds are average and the pool is tiny however the dive operation is great with nitrox available, though expensive at $13/tank, and the diving great. The food is average and also expensive, $27/ dinner, but it is cooked from fresh product for just those staying at the lodge. Other restaurants nearby don't have food readily available on the off chance that a diner will walk in either so it is best to call the day before with your plans to eat. The water was lovely and safe to drink right out of the tap. Day excursions were also expensive at $60-$90 each. The people, bar none, were wonderfully friendly and added to the overall experience. Also, there is free wifi.
