We didn't get the chance to make inquires. We were barely out of our car when, with no warning, their dog attacked our beloved family dog. After many desperate attempts to dislodge the viscious animal, my husband finally succeeded in lifting the dog away using a chokehold. While I put our bleeding, limping pet back into our car, the proprietress, an American, proclaimed that "it was not her dog" . Then the attacker came running back towards our open car, and when my husband blocked its progress with a kick, the owner then contradicted herself yelling, "don't kick my dog."
So that we could quickly tend to our pet's wounds we began to reverse from their driveway. The owners watched us, with not a word of concern, but rather, the proprietress nudged her husband, grinning, whispering and smirking! This was such an insult added to injury that we called out of our windows that we did not think it was funny. At this point the woman screamed and pointed us to "Get the **** off her property!" I could not believe my ears, but she was so loud there was no mistaking her.
Therefore I recommend, do not attempt to make inquiries IN PERSON -- much better to phone!
Other than that, the place has great wind, but is totally isolated and devoid of character. I would hope they have cable TV.
