It was our first time travelling to Cuba with our kids 6 and 10 and we did enjoy this experience. We had a wonderful weather all week except some rain. No problem. Before I write this reviews I would like to say this is our sixth all inclusive in the last three years and all the others were in Mexico. Upon arrival, we were given our room quickly. The room was very clean and we had a nice ocean view. We got two beds which were a little smaller than double and one extra bed. Nobody could sleep on that bed because it did not have a mattress and it was very hard. The resort is very pretty. Nice swimming pools and walkways. We like to walk so the size of the resort did not bother us. Also we have stayed in bigger resort before. We did not like the food here at all. Some things were ok but most stuff did not taste good. Lost of items were cold in the buffet. We went to Mediterean A la carte and food was avarage. My husband tried to order lamb but not available. Also waited for our appetizers fifty minutes. Japanes was good. Best food we had all week. Also we did beach barbacue and it would of been good except it was cold. Beach was very nice. Warm water and no rocks inside. We got a tour guide for a very good price to show us Havanna and loved it. Really worth to see. Also we went to Varadero in the double decker bus and really liked strolling down the markets. The most disappointing part about this resort was the kids club. It did not exist here. We went few times during the day since my daughter loved kids club in Mexico but nobody was ever there. It was closed most of the time. Two times my daughter played inside but got really bored. They dont have posted activities and no sign up sheet. Kids have to be supervised in the playground by the parents. Really nice facility, just too bad it is not well run. They had mini disco at 8 every night and she did enjoy that. I am glad we visited Cuba but I dont think we will be returning any time soon. We just found that Mayan Riviera in Mexico is much better in every single way. If you have not tried other all inclusives this is a nice place. For us, it does not come close to Dreams or Grand Palladium in Mexico.
