We have chosen this hotel in Varadero because our children (4 and 7) love to slide and this hotel has by one of it's pools a great waterslide. But the real reason we were so excited at last was, that the staff in this hotel is really fantastic. On the beginning, we were solving the problem with the room-it was too small for 4 persons. I turned to management of the hotel and Mr.Ortiz, the manager, has provided us with a superb room and even card for unlimited acces to á la carte restaurants, as a satisfaction! We used to dine in Mediterranean restaurant and the staff there was truly marvellous! You can imagine how picky the children are but, there was not a problem to get any food which was even not on the buffet(my children love just plain spaghetti with butter). They made us so happy and feeling like home by continuos care and smiling every time, so we got soon addicted to go only to this restaurant! Great holiday, we'll never forget. Thank you, Misleny, Odalys, Yirian, Isel and Amelia, we'll come back againg!

I loved this resort!!! Staff was extremly friendly and helpful and the food was great! Clean beautiful beach and 3 pools to choose from (2 with a swim up bar). There are always staff driving around in golf carts and you catch a ride with them to where ever you want! Room was awsome! Buffet was huge with tons of choices at every meal!! In the room everyday was large bottle of water, beer and juice in the fridge! I would come back here again and again! So worth the price and you will also love it! We went in November and the weather was perfect!

I would recommend it to anyone went with 10 family members and had a great time beach was beautifull resort nice big and amazing staff, will definitely be returning. After reading all the bad reviews about Cuba I was really pleased I picked this resort

Our family of 5 ( 2 double rooms) Was in Cuba fr Jan 21-Jan29 2012. We had an amazing time. The weather was perfect everyday! The resort is really big so not sure if we'd stay there again, hard to navigate. We had our rooms in block 55 near the beach, loved the location. Had a peek a boo of the ocean. The rooms are dated but comfortable ( i heard the resorts in Cuba only own the resort for 5 years then the state owns it, or something like that. Which makes sence why they don't upgrade their resorts all the time.) Did the catamaran trip - amazing also the Havana trip- booked it fr the life guard on the beach. It was a little tight in the van for 9 but was a private tour which was great. If you have to wait for bus loads of people to get on and off a tour bus, it would have taken alot longer. Jose was our private tour guide and answered all our questions. We made a few stops at the National Hotel - best Mojito ever. The Gaita restaurant in Havana- best food ever!! And much cheaper booking the tour this way! We took 2 way radio's to the resort which we have used before in Mexico to keep tabs on the kids etc... which would have been nice if they worked here, but they did not! Especially with the resort being so large (44 acres i think) and we met other family here as well so hard to meet up with them. All the staff was super friendly and a great time was had by all. Hugo is super at the swim up bar! Fun Times!
