We consider this is our trip of hell. We arrived there after 10 pm. After we checked in, we came down for some pop and water and was told the all inclusive bar is closed at 10pm. We were never told all inclusive is only 10-10 by Sunwing Agent. Never even thought all inclusive can be for certain time of the day. We asked the staff for some drinkable water for my child for the night, till bar is open in the morning. The answer was no and we need to pay at the paid bar. We said ok we needed to exchange the money in order to pay. The answer was no they don't change money at the desk. So what, you can't provide free water and you can't provide currency for the paid water? What about put $2 on tab and I will deal with Sunwing tomorrow? No is the answer again. They don't give credit. We were really ticked at this point. We asked for the manager, person in charge... Instead we got 10 guys come into the lobby. After we explained again and again that we only need the water for my poor 8 year old child we got some water and told to deal with Sunwing the next day.
We never expect such an unpleasant experience first time in Cuba. We've never seen any other place lack of basic service like this one.
As the trip prolonged, we found the all inclusive food here is uneatible. Food looks awful. Dishes are dirty. Birds and flyes were running freely in the dinning room. The service is minimal at this hotel. I will write to Sunwing too. They shouldn't deal with any hotels that can't even provide the basic service, doesn't matter how good the price is. We treat our pets better in Canada than the Cuban hotels treat us.
My advice is stay away from any lowend hotels in Cuba. The weather in Cuba is not warm either. I wouldn't choose Cuba for my winter vacation anymore.

Where to begin... This hotel was hardly a hotel at all, these rooms made the low income housing that you would find on Main and Hastings in Vancouver look good. The room was falling apart, there was stains on the sheets... This was the Hotel they transfered me to when I complained about the first one ( Islazul Oasis Hotel). The floor was falling apart and the room smelled awful, curttains were felling off, stain on the bathroom wall, no clean towels, room so dirty and dark. Let me say this I am not one to complain about an all inclusive vacation and I always try and make the best of a bad situation, but it was simply not possible here. When all of the guest at the hotel are counting down the days till their flight home, you know something is wrong. The food was old and often dry and I could barely hold it down. This was the worst vacation I have ever been on, and I will never go back to Cuba and I will never use Sunwing vacations again. The Sunwing rep was rude and useless and did nothing to help make this vacation better.BE AWARE OF THEIR LAST MINUTE DEALS as you aren't even getting a deal. I wouldn't go to this hotel for free if it was offered. Cuba was supposed to be a great experience and instead I ended up regretting the entire trip. I will never go back...... not in a million years.

The entire point of my vacation was to relieve some stress and instead I came back with my first gray hairs!!! Stress free.... not even close, worst week of my life!!!

I have travelled, and experience extensively world wide, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

This was the second time at this hotel nothing new, you get what you pay for, it's clean but run down, the price was right $600.00 for 2 all inclusive,,Why not! The beach is awesome and there is a bar on the beach. The hotel is not on the beach but 1 5 min walk. Walk down the street to a fantastic place for Lobster just before the main strip on the left..great price

Unbelievable! Used soap from last guest, no shampoo, tuff of hair on bathroom floor for 2 days? Stained bedsheets, stained tablecloths, terrible food, smell of oil coming from air conditioner, patio doors and windows don't lock. A real dump! I have never in 48yrs seen anything as awful as this!
