Hola Amigos of the officers club!! Kevin here; brrrrr is it ever cold up here in Canada! Wish I was home with you guys! I want to thank-you all for my lovely stay at your club! What a blast of fun! Just what I needed! Hats of to Andre the activity director and the beautiful girls that entertain you in the pool area! A job well done! Kenya you were above and beyond the call of duty! Carlito, you were wonderful! Dining staff well dressed and food was excellent for a 2-star! Security guys were professional and did a good job! Front desk staff were very friendly and my representative Felix did an excellent job! No problem at this hotel! Felix would solve any problem that you could come up with; wonderful job Felix! The Cabaret at the Tropicana was just out of this world fantastic! I thought I was dreaming! The girls were beyond Exotic! Food and service in the Tropicana dining room was excellent! Dont forget everybody that in Cuba it is very important that you tip the servers at all stations! Kitchen, pool grill, chamber maids as well as the front desk when changing your currency!! They rely on us to be generous! You can also tip Felix as he is the best! They really need every peso that you can give them! A peso is the norm for good service! These people deserve to be tipped properly! Please, if you can, bring 30- pound test fishing line and smaller packets of fishing hooks and weights for the maintenance staff! They rely on this to feed their families; as these people live off the ocean and what it provides for them! If you can; buy masks and snorkels at the Dollar-rama. They are only $2.00 for a mask & $ $1.50 for a snorkel! This enables them to harvest food from their waters! They will thank-you from the bottom of their hearts! The shows were well done and very proffessional. The disco was alot of fun and the music and D.J. very professional. Noa you are the best! Every-body has fun at the Costa Morena! The drinks were free at the disco, but make sure you tip the bar staff! Dont forget the wonderful singers in the dining room! A peso each and they are all happy! It does not take much to make a big difference in their quality of life! I will return to this Hotel again & again! The security at the airport was excellent and a job well done by all! Also I would ask everybody when booking your holiday that you ask rep. at Canjet for extra humanitarian aid baggage allowance. This allows you to bring free of charge 44- pounds of clothes for the cuban people! Clothes are like gold to them as they are very costly and out of their reach! Old running shoes and sandals are highly prized! Crocs also are a very good present! Please; do go to the Costa Morena and enjoy! These people are very happy to see you and will go out of their way to please you! See you all at the Costa Morena real soon! Bye for now everybody, Yours truly Kevin.
