Stayed at Casa Antigua from Jan 9 - 14. It is about 10 minutes from the Habana Vieja. Horacio and Marta were great hosts. Their home is so special with many handmade artistic details all over. Before arriving, and also while there, Horacio had a lot of patience for my many questions. He can tell you all details of Habana, where to visit etc... Walk 1 minute up to the main road from their house and you can easily catch a taxi.

Breakfast was perfect and always thoughtful, ready when i woke up. The room was spotless with nice air circulation, tv, plenty of room. Outside terrace with many plants was a nice way to spend the morning.

Horacio played beautiful piano and their dog Dali is adorable!! Can't really imagine the reason for staying in a hotel. The price is so much more and you would get so much less.

I cannot wait to come back!!

We had a wonderful time in Habana. We stayed at Casa Antigua, a beatiful private house in Vadedo, Habana, run by Horascio and his wife Martha Santana. The "Casa" is located 10-15 min away from the old city. We quickly fell in love with the colorfull yet increadbly tastefull decoration inside the house and the close attention of the family. Just relax and let them lead you. Horascio will help you with any information you need. He will take his time and explain you every detail. They made our stay in Habana enjoyable and we are very happy to have met them. I am sure this wont be our last time...

I stayed for three nights with the lovely Marta and Horacio. They couldn't have been more helpful and kind. I felt completely spoiled staying with them, their home is spotless, the room and services very comfortable and their gorgeous dog Salvador was always ready for a cuddle. I loved Havana but staying at Casa Antigua was really made my entire experience memorable!

I would like to reply to the couple that had such bad words for beautiful people like Marta and Horacio.

I have travelled many times to Cuba and so have all my children and their friends, and at Casa Antigua we did not only find a bed and a cup of coffee, but a FAMILY.
My daughter Sara also got sick and Marta and Horacio called a doctor friend who arrrived in the middle of the night and following days until Sara got well and did not charge us a cent.

We spent Christmas and new years with the Santana family, I talked with Marta sitting on her bed, took advantage of Horacio for all sorts of favours he did always with a smile. Drank their cafecito and ron, ate with friends and felt in heaven when Horacio played the piano.
We became "real" friends and we all look forwards to meet again.
