...where ever you have been before. Despite its flaws I found it a wonderful and charming hotel conveniently located in downtown Havana. Our room was huge with so heigh a ceiling I nearly suffered from vertigo when I streched out on the bed slightly tipsy and the room started to turn. The staff was friendly, polite, helpful and smiling all the time. The in-house cigar shop is not the best in town, but then who cares, there are plenty down the street. Breakfast was solid, coffee just as good as in a streetbar in Florence and 10times better than in any Starbucks and the 'spaghetti carbonara' they served in the afternoon in the patio tasted excellent and better than many I had in Italy.
