I was prepared for a run down resort with mediocre food because I didn't pay much for the trip. It was however, a complete nightmare.
There are mosquitos and cockroaches everywhere. Stray dogs roaming the property and feril cat's that beg for scraps at the meal time. The music blaired from 10 am until 2 am almost everyday, even though no one was at the dance floor most of the time. DO NOT take your kids here. There are prostitues everywhere. The security guards are the pimps. I was eaten alive by bugs almost everynight and one morning they were cutting the grass outside my "villa" at 8 am. This is after I couldn't sleep until 2am becuase of the music. There was dried blood on one of the towles they brought me.
Again, I want to repeat. I was prepared for a somewhat dumpy resort since I didn't pay much for the trip but I never expected it to be this bad. I would pay a couple to a few more hundred dollars and stay somewhere else. The food was about what i expected for what i paid. Not great but not terrible. But the actual hotel was a nightmare.
