We stayed at Casa Dania at the beginning of January 2012 and stayed 4 nights. the location was perfect, it was central to everything you want to see in Havana Vieja. The hosts Yosvany and Dania were extremely accomidating and very nice people. We speak little spanish but still made do even with our limited vocab even though the hosts don't speak english. The little Daschund Charlie totally stole my heart, he was so cute! Wonderful rooms, very very comfortable memory foam matress and everything in the casa was clean and up to modern standards. It was quiet at night too which was unexpected considering the location. Gorgeous roof top terrace and Yosvany will make you a tasty breakfast. Beverages were available at affordable prices in the fridge, you just write down what you took to keep track. Loved this casa and would fully recommend it to anyone.

Excellent location in Old Havana, parallel to Obispo, all attractions at walking distances. The street is not so inviting at first glance, but when you enter, climb the stairs and get in : wow !! Very clean and comfortables rooms with A/C. Amazing all around view from the terrasse where excellent breakfeasts and dinners are prepared and served by Yosvany. Warm hospitality, friendly and helpfull people.
Access to refrigerator where you can buy beverages at low prices.
We stayed there 3 nights and think it's a good way to discover Habana Viejo from the inside.

Firstly, sorry for this review being so late. Each time I tried to post it, something went wrong. We stayed here in May 2011 with two young children - 3 year old Lila and 8 year old Stella. They absolutely loved it - as did we. Very clean, great breakfasts on the roof and we had the freedom of the place to come and go as we pleased. Dania and Yosvany were great hosts and always made a real fuss of the kids. Charlie used to sleep on the kids bed - which they loved. We loved Havana so much, we cut short the beach part of our holiday to come back to Havana and although we couldn't get a room at Casa Dania, they did arrange with a friend to put us up in his Casa just across the road. We will definitely come back.
