Not only I was made felt like at home but also safe and comfortable. Raydel and Luisa made every possible effort to please us, they gave us many pieces of advice about the city and the Cubans. Breakfast was excellent, lunch and dinner made at request too. Very clean and fully restored. They made our first trip to Cuba truly unique. Can't wait to go back, gracias!!

Room Tip: All very good

“Stay in this casa instead of a hotel - really worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 August 2011

Stayed August 2011 for 2 days. The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated each equipped with a working air condition. They have windows in the inner court but that in Havana can be considered as an advantage since you don't have voices coming from the street or unpleasant smells. The bathroom was a pleasant surprise because in comparison with those we saw in other casas and hotels it was brand new and very very clean. Rooms were very clean as well. The whole place definitely has style and it cannot be better situated. Only a few steps away from the Old Havana which is really was is worth in Havana and also very close to Centro Havana where you will find all the sights worth visiting. I would definitely recommend it without any second thought as very nice and convenient place to stay in Havana. Food was ok, breakfast was way better, get it! General tip: Avoid hotels, stay in casas. The first two nights of our trip we stayed in Hotel Park View and the last two here. I'd give 2* to the hotel and 4*+ to this casa. Owners very helpful as well. Don't make the mistake and book in advance your whole stay in Cuba. Book just the first 2-3 days and then the owners of the casas will guide you...

“owner was great and it was super clean !”

It was my first time going to Cuba (I loved it ! ) and arriving at 11pm , we were not sure what to expect . The Owner Radel was friendly and professional . The rooms were clean and comfortable with high ceilings , airco , fans and the en suite bathrooms were spotless !!
The common areas were very pretty and well designed . Also very affordable prices , like 30 euros a double room . We stayed 3 nights on arrival and 1 more night on the way back . Could not fault this casa paticular . I will stay there in the future as it was a great experience
Thanks again Radel ..

“Staying at Casa Obrapia was a wonderful experience!”

Gorgeous, fully renovated, secure and clean Casa at great location (one block from Obispo - promenade of La Habana Vieja). Beautiful and comfortable rooms all equipped with AC and fan, some with private bathrooms.
Breakfast and dinner are offered. Breakfast was delicious (freshly made juice (mango, papaya...) with fresh fruits and very tasty omelette.
Raydel is a wonderful host, very friendly and unintrusive, always ready to help. He made sure that the sheets and towels are changed frequently.
Highly recommended!
Thank you Raydel. Hope to see you soon!
