WannaDive Hut is a perfect accommodation for divers coming to Bonaire to do some serious diving. If you are a diver traveling with non divers they might not be as comfortable. We had the same room that the last poster had #10 and we found everything to be in good condition- with the exception of a missing tv remote control. Our room had an air conditioner that we quickly learned to not set below 26- brrrrrrrrrr....... There was a small refridgerator and the king bed was very comfortable( twin bed also in the room). Water pressure wasn't the same as we are used to but again nothing you can't survive for a few days. The diving in Bonaire is fantastic so you won't have time to think about the pro's and con's of the room- you'll be so exhausted from the days diving that a shower and a bed become the only "must haves" while on vacation there.
We stayed 4 nights on the island of Bonaire (staying 9 more nights in Aruba). The Hut is very centrally located which makes getting around really easy. We got a great deal on a truck rental to make hauling dive gear/tanks more manageable(don't forget to ask for a tank rack when you book the rental). We stopped at the grocery store when we arrived and picked up a few snacks and breakfast items. We were glad that we did b/c although WannaDive offers a short breakfast menu the one day we waited for them to open we were disappointed that off of the short menu they were out of fruit, oatmeal and bagels...so we got and oj and some coffee and headed into town for an early lunch- found a Subway and picked up some footlong subs for the long afternoon of diving.
You can also get a package rate with WannaDive for unlimited tanks- which really was the way to go. They have 2 locations you can pick up and drop off tanks at. Another advantage at Wanna Dive is the dive locker and rinse tanks for your gear. We only did shore dives simply b/c there are SO many of them. We did 12 dives in our short 2.5 days of diving and they were all great. We also used our Marine Park Tags (you are required to purchase ($25) before diving in Bonaire) to gain entrance to the National Park. It was a great way to spend the day before we left the island. It took us about 3 hours to drive through it- bring plenty of water to drink and batteries for your camera! We ran out of both.
One more note- If you are looking for a good place to eat we really enjoyed our meal at "It Rains Fishes"- everything we had there was fantastic including the bill- very reasonable.
Hope this review helps, we will stay at WannaDive Hut again.
