Having just returned from my third trip to the Divi Flamingo, I'm happy to say that I once again had a wonderful week. The Divi Dive Shop runs an outstanding service. The staff is professional, knowledgable, extremely helpful, and makes each and every dive one to remember. The facilites and boats and dive schedules are perfectly set-up for easy access for all divers, including disabled divers, that results in a no worries diving experience...every day! And the dive sites...too many to count!
The friendly and easy-going hotel staff add to the overall relaxing atmosphere. Everything you want; from on-site restaurants (great food at great prices) to swimming pools to the bar is within a few minutes walk from any of the rooms. And the snorkeling is fabulous and just steps away from each room.
I'm already looking forward to next year's trip!

Just got back from a week scuba and snorkeling in Bonaire. Stayed at the Divi. Perfectly located near the airport. They have one of the best reef diving in the world. Calm warm water (79 - 80F). Well over 100 dive sites in calm clear water. Dive shop on site.
Got a flat tire on my powerchair and the maintenance people had it fixed in less than an hour. Great staff. Nice and clean resort.

Can't wait to return..

We go once a year to Divi Flamingo in Bonaire, although we skipped going in 2011. We just got back from our 2012 stay, and it is as great as ever. The staff is friendly, and responsive to any request. More important, the dive shop is outstanding! The dive shop and the reef are only a few steps from your room, and the reef is one of the best on Bonaire. I dive, my wife snorkels, and just snorkeling off the dock we always see a menagerie of colorful reef fish, as well as barracuda, flounder, octopi and eels.
The resort is easy walking distance from downtown Kralendijk and its best restaurants, and the walk is along the oceanfront, with a view of Klein Bonaire.
The suites are clean and modern, if small. We stay as a couple in a one bedroom that supposedly sleeps six, and we have lots of room. But, as a warning, if we were really six people and not just two, it would feel cramped in a single unit, especially with only one bathroom.
The balconies are great, and the full kitchen always has a coffee-maker and a blender for mixing drinks, which are the main thing you want to make when on vacation.
This being Bonaire, you can always see a variety of bird life flying around the resort -- parrots, orioles, yellow finches, pelicans, you name it.
If you like Bonaire (and who wouldn't?), you will love Divi.

My Husband and I have been to Bonaire several years in a row now and when we leave we always can't wait to come back! Divi Flamingo is our favorite place to stay. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. The resort is in a great location because it's in walking distance to many great restarants and shops. We love eating at the resort too! The food and service is always great and the themed nights of the week for dinner were fun and always something new on each night. Friday night happy hour is a blast. Live music and a fun group of people! We recently got certified to dive and absolutly love the staff at Divi Dive! We love the calm water and how you can just jump right off the dock and go diving. The boat dives were great too. We got to see so many things and the dive instructors we went with always pointed out things to the group that I probabally wouldn't of seen if I were by myself. We can't wait until our kids are a little older because they would love to swim and snorkel in the shallow areas and be able to see all the fish! This resort is for young and old, we met all kinds of great people. We had a very fun and relaxing time!
