My husband and I travel out of the country three or four times a year and this is someplace we'll come back too. The rooms are clean and spacious, Robert and his staff are second to none and the house reef.....unbelievable. The property is convenient to everything and whereas we had read about plane noise, the airport is close, we were never once disturbed. Highly recommend staying here.

Bellafonte is perfect for couples.
Excellent location, clean, modern. In room decent safe.
Even full this place seems quiet.
Really an adult spot. Excellent swimming diving and snorkel directly in front. No restaurant.
Not really perfect for children. We have stayed here 5 or more times different units. All nice. Cheers

We have been to Bonaire over 8 times and have stayed in various accommodations. The Bellefonte was the most upscale we have had the chance to visit. The grounds are beautiful and definitely feel tropical. The views from the master bedroom and livingroom are excellent. Originally we were booked for the jr Studio but once we arrived we found the space too cramped however I am sure it would appeal to some folks who do not need a lot of room - Robert, the property manager, was very understanding and allowed us to upgrade at the last moment. Actually Robert made our stay even better - he was always available and accommodating. Nothing fazed him and he was always in a good mood. The only short fall, for some people, may be the lack of a swimming pool. For us it was not a problem - not when you have crystal clear caribbean waters to jump into! The kitchens are well stocked but I would bring plastic glasses for outdoor drinks as our unit did not have any.

My husband and I stayed at the Bellafonte the first few days of October 2011. Our flight got in late, luggage was later, so we decided to check out our room before heading back to the airport to grab our luggage. As promised, Robbert (fantastic manager) had done some grocery shopping for us - so we had beer and snacks waiting for us despite the late hour. Our air conditioning was broken, so the first night was a little toasty, but Robbert gave us a different room the first thing the next day, with an upgrade!! We were given great recommendations on places to eat - Bobbejan's and It Rains Fishes - and he helped with making reservations for kayaking. Snorkeling in front of the hotel was fantastic!! Would go back to Bonaire and the Bellafonte anytime...
