Stayed ay this hotel for only one night, this was however due to a mix up of times over flights and missing the plane Thanks Virgin. Arrived at 21.30 hours and greeted by a very helpful and friendly receptionist. I would say the location was hit or miss depending on what you are looking for. I agree with the other review about the noise as it is on the main road opposite the taxi rank facing the beach we had a sea view and next to a resturaunt which plays loud music, however the windows do keep the noise out and the higher the floor , we were on five, the better I think. I did comment at the time I was glad I wasn't on a lower floor. Rooms were very good, clean and spacious and beds really comfy. Wasn't impressed with the pool it is out the front and a little dirty and I felt as if I was swimming in the reception area water feature and it was very noisey. although the beach was only across the road so if I had stayed longer I would not have used the pool. We didn't eat so couldn't comment although the breakfast menu looked good.

Would I recommend it maybe yes but be aware that it can be very noisey and dont expect to relax around the pool. but the hotel is very clean and tidy room very good and I thought the staff were very helpful.

This place is an absolute mess. The traffic and noise, staff, food...terrible. I would never stay here again even if it were free!

We arrived at this hotel for a 4 week stay and were welcomed with a hot facecloth & a rum punch. The room was huge with a separate bedroom, an american kitchen fully equipped, full air conditioning, a jakuzzi bath and two tv sets. All the staff were friendly and very helpful especially the receptionists who were only too happy to book outings, restaurants, shuttle buses etc. The room was cleaned and fresh towels supplied daily and any problems were dealt with efficiently by houskeeping. Although the hotel is not situated on the beach they have an arrangement with a local beach bar to supply their guests with sunbeds at no cost, the hotel also supplies fresh beach towels every day.
There are shops, bars and eating places in the immediate vicinity and there is a taxi rank and bus stops outside the hotel which give access to all other parts of the island.
For guests who have airport transfers after checking out time there is a lounge with tv and shower/changing facilities. We would like to thank Veronica, Troy, Sharitta, Jason, Natasha and the rest of the staff who made our stay so pleasant and comfortable and we would have no hesitation in recommending South Beach to anybody.

Stayed here in October and had a really good holiday. The staff were very welcoming especially Margaritte our chamber maid who came every day and made sure we had everything we needed.
The apartment was the best we have ever stayed in. It was really spacious and comfortable and the bed was really comfy. Did not expect such a large apartment for such a low price!!
The washer and dryer on every floor was a great help as I came home with a case full of clean clothes instead of a case full of dirty washing.
The chill out room was especially good when we were waiting to go on our flight home as we were able to relax and watch TV while we waited for our bus as it was raining when it was time to come home.
Went to the Fusion Restaurant for breakfast and once for evening meal. Although the food was good we thought it was overpriced for what it was and would not go there again unless the food was reduced in price.
Ideally located for beach and takeaways. With restaurants close by. Don't forget to visit Chilly Moos when you go as they serve excellent ice cream.
