I stayed at South Beach in October of 2010 for a week. It originally was only going to be for 4 nights but I extended it a few days. I travel to Barbados frequently and I always stay near Accra Beach. The hotel staff was amazing. I booked a studio and was upgraded to this beautiful 1 BR apartment with a jacuzzi tub at no additional charge. Perfection! The cleaning staff was friendly as are all of the locals. I am returning to Barbados in a few weeks and I was sad to hear that South Beach is closed for renovations until October 1, 2011. I can't wait to see how they improve South Beach as I thought it was perfect already!

My husband and I both chefs are always busy so for a treat we like to enjoy the benefits of our industry. We booked a weekend at South Beach a few months ago and it was sooo relaxing. The decor is very modern. The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is so nice. The beach is literally across the street. We love it so much we are planning our next weekend there. Thank you South Beach staff for making our stay fabulous!

The hotel staff were very helpful. It was in a prime location for bars/ restaurants.
It was mother's day and my sister birthday and the hotel sent wine, flowers and balloons for them both. We found the staff very pleasant and friendly.

I would recommend it to anyone who want to enjoy Barbados. We would like to say thank you to all the hotel staff and see you next year!

I have been meaning to add my review for the last 5 months. My wife and I did a staycation here for 4 days. Being a local resident had no negative impact on our stay.
The staff at the hotel are so polite and friendly. They are always willing to assist, from front desk to ancillary staff who ensures that the hotel and room is cleaned. The food was great, kudos to the chef. This hotel is also opposite one of the most beautiful and popular beaches, Accra Beach and within walking distance to many food outlets, bars and shopping. Thanks to the staff for making my stay enjoyable and relaxing.
