I have stayed at the Rostrevor several times and will continue to go back. The location is perfect on the St. Lawrence Gap and the staff are the best!!!!

Everything about the holiday was superb, rooms clean and smart, terrace room on ground floor was big with lovely kitchen. Everyone was extremely polite and helpful, we english could learn a lot from Barbados customer services. St Lawrence Gap is brilliant for restaurants and bars, can recomment Rush Bar and the Greek Restaurant down by the entrance to the gap. We found a brilliantly outstanding restaurant down by The southern Palms hotel, staff are outstanding as is their food and very reasonable. We had to come home but me and my husband will both definitely be going back next year, we thought Dominic Republic was gorgeous but this was even better. Go on a catamaran and swim with the turtles, you will never forget it!!!

just returned from the rostrevor and wish we were back there.We had a brilliant 2 weeks rooms were very nice and clean beautiful view of the ocean staff were great especially verna who served our breakfast most mornings she was great cant wait to go back. met some lovely people who return year after year and i can understand why.had the time of our lives :)x x x

Just finished a week's stay at the Rostrevor in St. Lawrence Gap. While this is a no frills hotel, we found it to meet our expectations and more. All the rooms face the sea, and our room had a kitchenette which was handy for quick bites. There are two restaurants on premises, the Almond Tree cafe and Harlequin. The Harlequin was an outstanding dinner, and the service and attention to detail were impeccable. Our room was thoroughly cleaned daily, and the staff went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable. One note, the hotel is right in the centre of the GAP which is one of the main nightlife centres of the island. It can get rather loud on some nights (especially Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with Sugar lounge across the street going until 4a). If you are a light sleeper, best to bring earplugs. The Gap has many restaurants, Dover Beach is a also a short walk from the hotel. Lastly, a must do is the Bajan street food vendors in the Gap. Their food is on par with the restauarants, and a bit cheaper. When I return to Barbados, I will definetly consider booking again with the Rostrevor. The others who we met in Barbados stayed at an all inclusive and our room was as nice as theirs and they had nothing but complaints about their lack of service.
